AD6XP is a callsign given to me by US FCC (Federal Communications Commission) after successful examination to qualify for Extra class Amateur Radio license operator. The FCC record is here.

Main reasons for requesting this license were my interests in radio communications, electromagnetic waves propagation, ionosphere and space physics, weak signals detection and demodulation, efficient coding and DSP. The license allows me to transmit and communicate with other licensed operators according to local authority regulations on reserved frequency bands.

Technically I’m interested in exploring the new possibilities in evaluation and development of more efficient low-power digital communication devices, including SDR (Software Defined Radio).
